As Head of HarperCollins Children’s Publishing, she led the publication of best-selling and critically acclaimed books, achieving record revenue and profit growth. Under her leadership, HarperCollins won Children’s Publisher of the Year three times and published numerous overall bestsellers. Ann-Janine is renowned for talent management, working with celebrated authors such as Michael Morpurgo and Quentin Blake. She is committed to revitalizing classic brands like Paddington and Narnia and expanding the reach of children's literature. Ann-Janine holds a History degree from Murray Edwards College, Cambridge, and recently stepped down from her role at HarperCollins to pursue a new portfolio career.

Laura Meyer is an experienced technology and operations leader with a three-decade career in the media industry. As CIO at HarperCollins UK, she played a pivotal role in leading the company through change and growth. Laura's advocacy extends beyond her core responsibilities, as she has championed environmental initiatives, spearheaded the menopause at work group, and co-founded a women's cross-sector mentoring group called WING. During her tenure at Turner Broadcasting, Laura provided strategic guidance and business support to over 1200 customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She managed multiple functions, including infrastructure, software development, and production, and achieved approximately 20% annual growth in channel launches. With a focus on elevating the profile of female investors, Laura also invests in female-founded businesses and emphasizes the importance of creativity and connected teams in overcoming operational challenges.
