CITF Mentoring Scheme

Why should you seek a Mentor with CITF?

Our Cross-Organisational Mentoring scheme offers peer mentoring for mentees from different organisations to connect for action learning, peer problem solving, networking and access to a wide range of technology professional’s perspectives from across a variety of roles and sectors.

What makes the CITF Mentoring Scheme unique?

Whilst many companies offer internal mentoring schemes, there is strong evidence that suggests employees are more likely to be open and vulnerable talking to mentors who are impartial and based outside of the organisation and field of expertise in which they are working.

Having a mentor from a different organisation and professional background facilitates new ways of working. It gives an opportunity to broaden horizons and share experiences. With these fresh insights, mentees can add new value to your organisation, bringing new ideas and ways of doing things.

Executive Coaching Scheme

Why should you seek an Executive Coach with CITF?

Unlike mentoring, coaching is a system that is delivered in a non-directive manner, to encourage leaders to learn through deep listening and reflective, open questions rather than instructing, giving advice, or making suggestions.

This facilitative approach to unlocking and calibrating challenges is delivered through techniques designed to provide emotional support.

Executive coaches are qualified professionals that work with individuals (usually executives, but often high-profile employees) to help them gain self-awareness, clarify goals, achieve their development objectives, unlock their potential, and act as a sounding board. They also tend to work with a wide range of leaders with the aim to empower and enhance their performance.

What makes the CITF Executive Coaching Scheme unique?

Like with internal mentoring, whilst many companies offer internal coaching arrangements, and coaching consultants that also work closely with the business operations, there is strong evidence that suggests leaders are more likely to be open and vulnerable talking to coaches who are impartial and completely unattached to their organisation.

Our executive coaches are specifically experienced in delivering virtual coaching support with the current focus on supporting technology-based leaders driving businesses through transformations while managing uncertainty for themselves, teams, and organisations.
