Over a third of Aviva’s employees are 45 and over, having launched their mid-life MOT pilot back in 2018, the company has rolled this out to great success. The project aimed to help their employees with their wellbeing as well as their finances and their career growth, by allowing time to reflect and review. Annually the 45+ age group is the largest growing employment sector within the UK at 250,000, the UK government is also looking to implement successful policies to help firms retain talent and provide additional career growth opportunities.
