The next step on your leadership path

This leadership evening is by invitation only

When experienced technology leaders choose to take their career in a different direction it can be difficult to know which route to take, and crucially, how to make that change a success.
This leadership evening will be a fantastic opportunity to hear from a range of distinguished speakers about the choices they have made in their leadership path. Whether looking to make a change now, in several years, or after an opportunity to network with other senior leaders, this is the evening for you.

Alongside your peers, you will hear how Jo and Lauren managed the transition in their career, their reasons for making that decision, and what tips they would offer to anyone looking to do the same. Simon will provide his advice and expertise from his viewpoint within a distinguished executive search and recruitment firm.

The location is Landsec Head Offices, 100 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 5JL

Jo Ingham | Director and Principal Consultant | Dingley Associates
Jolyon Ingham started his career in business operations but was invited to move into IT having successfully managed ‘Europe’s largest mobile data project’. Since then he has had a variety of senior IT roles. He realised early on that the role of an interim offered the variety and challenge that he enjoyed. Jolyon will talk us through his career taking a candid view of the career choices he made as well as his successes and failures whilst drawing conclusions on what could make such a career choice both exciting and lucrative had he done it correctly.

Lauren-Elise Tennant | CEO and Founder | Horizon Seven Consulting
The steps from CIO in an global organisation, to CEO of a consulting company and on to founder of her own company were relatively quick and simple for Lauren. She will share her experience about how she made these steps so quickly, and for her the strong characteristics that make great leaders.

Simon McDonald | Managing Partner, Government Practice | Odgers Berndtson
Where does opportunity lie in the non-executive and public appointments world for senior technology leaders?
